August 24th

Hi from the Scism's - John, Natalie, Caleb and Macy.
The main reason for the blog is to update friends and family with pictures mainly and whats happening our way.
Caleb is now in the 4th grade and it is proving to be a little more of a challenge than last year. Conduct is much better but getting the hang of homework, test and studying is going to be a little bit of a learning curve. Soccer starts this week and I am hopeful that Caleb will be on a good team.
Macy is 3 1/2 and much her own girl. She is very independent and self assured. She will be starting a new Mother's Day Out program next week and she and I are both looking forward to that day!!! I totally enjoy having the opportunity to be home with her but it gets a little more challenging as she gets older. I enjoy her and thank God for her coming along when she did. It is SO different having a girl vs. boy.
John is doing really well at Sanofi-Aventis and seems to like the hospital position. Hunting season is approaching which is always his favorite time of the year.
I am working one day a week in surgery at RMC. It's just enough to get me out of the house and earn a little extra money for Walmart or gas as the case may be. I enjoy getting out and being an adult for that little time each week. I will most likely go back another day and bump it up to 2 days when Macy goes to school full time. (she will be 4 yr. preschool next year).
We have some exciting trips coming up that we will get pictures on the blog when we return.
I am just about to buy a new digital camera and need some suggestions if anybody has a favorite. The extended zoom point and shoot are in the front runner position...I think the Cannon G-9 and there is a Nixon and Olympus.
Until next time.....
