So the winner is.....the Sony H50. It has a 15 zoom and 9.1 mp and the best feature it has is smile detection. (not the only reason I bought the camera) It is really cool and really works. I tested it out with Caleb and told him not to smile and then as soon as he did the picture snaps. The camera really has a lot of what I wanted and it has been very easy to use right out of the box. I wanted something that was a point & shoot but with extra zoom - almost a DSLR but not the bulk. Circuit City had it on sale but I had a coupon at Best Buy so I asked them to price match and they did so I got a great deal. I will post a picture or two at the end of this posting. Oh yea, it takes great action shots as well which comes in handy as Caleb is playing soccer.
We are loving this cool weather and hope to go camping soon to enjoy the great outdoors.
We had a "Macy" moment the other day. It all started with Macy slapping Caleb at the table as we were finishing up eating - for no reason. I asked her to stop and she preceded to slap him again. I told her to go to her room. On the way to her room she stopped and slapped at her Daddy. He told her to march on to her room and he would be in to talk with her. He did and told her to stay there for 5 min. After the time was up I went and opened her door and she said "is my time up?". I said "yes". She then said "can I come out?" and I said "can you behave?" she responded "HMMMMM I DON'T THINK SO"!!!! I said o.k. then stay in your room until you can behave. WOW. John says she is my daughter. And on that note I will say goodnight.
